About Wane ‘Swampy’ Jarvis

Wane ‘Swampy’ Jarvis was arguably Australia’s first professional ‘Roadie’ and throughout his career he was the most prominent and respected international music industry identity and ambassador Australia has ever had. He set standards and developed operational criteria that have become the Worldwide Industry benchmark for just about every activity involved with touring and concert production. He gave the industry, as a whole, a level of dignity, professionalism and compassion that is very often missing in this day and age.

Over 35 years Wane collected a massive amount of memorabilia which he gave to his daughter Tamara.  She and Kerrie spent 13 months collating, photography, cataloguing and preparing it for auction.
